The ideal apartment balances form and function, with a thoughtful splash of color to bring the space to life. In this Brazilian apartment, a lively blue-and-white palette is paired with carefully chosen yellow accents to create an interior that feels fresh, modern and genuinely livable. Designed by Studio Boscardin.Corsi, the home reflects the energetic lifestyle of its young owners while making smart use of every square meter.

Apartment BC is organized to avoid wasted space. The living area, dining zone and kitchen flow together as a single social core, encouraging interaction and maximizing natural light. A corner niche is transformed into a compact black-and-white kitchen where dark appliances and countertops anchor the predominantly white finishes, providing visual balance and a crisp, contemporary contrast.

Industrial-style Edison bulb pendants above the dining table add personality without overwhelming the space. The blue-painted walls serve as a vibrant backdrop, while selected yellow décor pieces—pillows, small accents and art—provide pops of warmth and energy. These color choices reinforce the apartment’s youthful, exuberant mood and make the open-plan layout feel intentionally designed rather than merely functional.

Storage and display are handled with restraint and style. A slim black floating shelf above the sofa hosts framed photos and artwork, creating a curated focal point without consuming floor space. In the kitchen, white tiled backsplashes are warmed by orange floating shelves that introduce a playful contrast while keeping essentials within arm’s reach. These small, deliberate choices emphasize function while enhancing visual interest.

The designers prioritize smart spatial solutions throughout the apartment. The bedroom features an open closet with exposed rods and hangers, a minimalist choice that keeps garments visible and accessible while reducing the need for bulky cabinetry. Compact, cleverly designed nightstands make the most of the room’s footprint without sacrificing convenience. These details demonstrate how thoughtful planning can yield both style and practicality in a small home.

The bathroom continues the theme of joyful color: bright, multi-colored tiles enliven the walls and create a bold, unexpected counterpoint to the apartment’s otherwise restrained palette. These vibrant surfaces show how tile, texture and hue can be used to define a room while remaining practical and easy to maintain.
This 65-square-meter apartment proves that a modest footprint need not limit creativity. By combining an open plan, strategic color accents, efficient storage and a few industrial-chic details, the design team created a home that feels spacious, personal and modern—an inviting environment tailored to the lifestyle of its occupants.
